Caryl Crane Youth Theatre is holding open auditions for its upcoming productions of Disney’s Camp Rock and Aladdin, July 18 & 19 from10 am – 12 pm in the McBride Auditorium at BGSU Firelands College. CCYT Artistic Director, Brian Marshall, will direct. 

Seeking all ages & types! Great roles available for actors, singers and dancers. No experience necessary! For Aladdin, you must be within the ages of 8-13 by the first rehearsal on August 5 to participate. For Camp Rock, you must be within the ages of 14-18 to participate. Rehearsals will be weekday mornings prior to the school year beginning and switch to afternoon/evenings once fall semester begins.

For the audition: please prepare one short contemporary musical theatre selection that shows off your voice. You may be asked to dance - please bring appropriate clothes to dance in. You may be asked to read from the scripts. Sides will be available at check-in. There are several roles available in both productions available for non-singers. Callbacks, if needed, will take place Saturday July 20 at 10 am. You will be notified at your audition if you are needed for callbacks.

As with all CCYT productions, there is NO participation fee. A suggested donation of $10 is used to cover the cost of purchasing individual scripts/scores/cds for each cast member.
