For Immediate Release

Ohio Shakespeare Festival continues the 2013 Summer Season with Cymbeline

"Some people, it seems, are born to do Shakespeare, and so must it be for
(Artistic Director) Terry Burgler. Under his guidance, a dazzling cast makes
Shakespeare as easily enjoyable as if the play had been written last year by
someone in, well, Ohio. The company makes one understand why so many make a
fuss about dear old Will. It's also gorgeous to the eye."

(The Cleveland Scene)

Ohio Shakespeare Festival, performing for the twelfth summer at beautiful
Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens in Akron, will continue it's 2013 season with
William Shakespeare's fantastic romance and semi-historical fairy tale,
Cymbeline.

Ever wonder what it would be like if Shakespeare had written a Disney
romance? If so, you'll want to catch Shakespeare's fairy tale: Cymbeline.
You'll meet an evil queen, a spellbound king, a princess in disguise, and
even the god of thunder, Jupiter himself. Cymbeline will feature favorite
OSF Company members Andrew Cruse, Bernard Bygott, and Tess Burgler as
Iachimo, Posthumous, and Imogen. Also returning to the company will be
Terry Burgler, Timothy Champion, Geoff Knox, Joe Pine, Benjamin Fortin,
Henry C. Bishop, Mark Stoffer, Kyra Kelley, Jeremy Jenkins and Karen L.
Wood, all appearing as various mountain men, ghosts, lords, ladies, kings
and princes.

Cymbeline will preview on August 1, open August 2, and run through August
18. Performances are Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights at 8pm,
with a Greenshow of songs, sword fights and skits performed each evening at
7:30. Stan Hywet's grounds open at 6pm for picnicking in the historic
gardens. Concessions are available each evening, including assorted wines,
and imported, microbrew and domestic beers.

Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens is located at 714 N. Portage Path in Akron.
Tickets are $30 for reserved seating (the first 100 seats in the center,
closest to the stage), or $25 for festival (open) seating. Student tickets
are $15, and further discounts on adult tickets are available for OSF, WKSU,
and Stan Hywet Members. Reservations may be made any time through OSF's web
site at <http://www.ohioshakespeare.com> www.ohioshakespeare.com, or by
calling the box office at (330) 673-8761 daily (except Mondays) from noon to
5pm.

"Burgler and his band of actors perform Shakespeare for the sheer joy of it.
We audience members are fortunate to partake in such a gorgeous treat."
