[NEohioPAL] Audition Notice: Shakespeare Sparx at Negative Space

As part of Sparx City Hop, Negative Space Gallery presents: Shakespeare Sparx- a collection of fiery Shakespeare scenes.

Guest Director Brian Pedaci, from the Cleveland Shakespeare Festival, along with Negative Space's Sean Seibert put together a fast-paced, upbeat showcase of the Bard in a funky art gallery setting!

Performances will be Saturday, September 21, at 1pm, 3pm and 5pm during Sparx City Hop.

Audition information:
When: 
Sunday July 28, 6-9:30pm
Call-backs:
Monday July 29, 6-9:30pm

Where: 
Negative Space Gallery
3820 Superior Ave
Asia Town Center
2nd floor
Free parking and entrance off 38th st.

Who:
Looking to cast 5-6 men and 5-6 women for the following roles: 

Men - Romeo, Petruchio, Oberon/Wm. Shakespeare, Hamlet, King Henry, Demetrius (Midsummer), Orlando (As You Like It)

Women - Juliet, Kate, Titania, Ophelia, Katherine (Henry V), Helena (Midsummer), Rosalind (As You Like It)

What:
Please have a 30-second Shakespeare monologue, and be prepared to recite/perform a sonnet (of your choice or one can be provided)


Rehearsals will be held Sunday evenings and a few Thursday nights. Actors will not be called to every rehearsal.

If you would like to audition but cannot make the scheduled time, please call to arrange something!
