MAIDEN VOYAGE THEATRE ENSEMBLEPRESENTS..


 “…But then, womanhood will bewomanhood,

void of color and of class, and all necessity for my speaking thus will bepast. Gladly past.”


Maiden Voyage Theater Ensemble willpresent a choral reading of Beah Richards famous poem. This event features a cast of talented inter-generationalAfrican American Women.


Written in 1951 this timeless and timelythought provoking work, in all its raw emotion, will be recounted with musicand movement.
