[NEohioPAL] Auditions for Lilies

[convergence-continuum]

convergence-continuum is pleased to announce open auditions for its
upcoming production of Michel Marc Bouchard’s Lilies - or The Revival of a
Romantic Drama, directed by Tyson Douglas Rand.

Translated from the original French to English by Linda Gaboriau, this
play has been translated into many languages and produced all over the
world, as well as having been made into an award-winning film.

The cast requires nine men (18 yrs & up)of a wide range of ages (18 thru
60's), and is set in a Quebec prison in 1952. The story focuses on a
play-within-the-play, recreating the tragic story of an adolescent male
love triangle in 1912 that leaves one boy dead, one in prison and the
third riddled with guilt. The play is built on  adult themes, and includes
partial nudity for two of the characters.

Auditions will be held at the Liminis Theatre, 2438 Scranton Rd.
Cleveland, OH 44113 on Thursday, August 15th from 6:00 to 10:00 PM. Sides
will be provided. No appointment necessary. Limited rehearsals begin
August 26. More demanding rehearsals begin September 16.

Show opens Fri, October 11 and runs Thu, Fri & Sat through November 2.
