Every August, filmmakers from around the world meet up for The Indie Gathering International Film Festival. The Indie Gathering is more than just a film festival - it's a place where filmmakers can gather together with the audience for one great weekend! The "Indie" Gathering Film Festival exists to showcase the independent filmmaker. Filmmakers participate in their screenings and speak with audience members who seek a closer look into the creative process.The Indie Gathering (www.theindiegathering.com) is coming up on August 16th, 17th and 18th, with an additional special screening on Thursday the 15th. The festival will be held at the Clarion Inn and Conference Center in Hudson, OH, located at 6625 Dean Memorial Parkway.

This year's festival features the following:
-over 100 films from around the world
-20 hours of film lectures, workshops and panel discussions 
-Competitions for Acting (monologue), Stunts (fight scene) and FX Makeup Artists
-Networking Parties (with live performances Sat. night)
-Convention Room
-2013 Inductions for The International Indie Filmmakers Hall of Fame
-Special Guests, and more!!

The cut off date for advance weekend passes is August 8th. You can purchase tickets here: http://theindiegathering.com/spectators.php, or at North Coast Casting, located at 5009 Storer Ave. Weekend passes, day passes and single tickets will be sold at the door at the standard rate.
