FOR PROFIT is a vibrant solo-portrayal of the exploitation of the American college student & the 1 trillion dollar student debt crisis, told through the lens of an unwilling admission adviser at a for-profit institution. 

In addition to being accepted to the NYC Fringe Festival, FOR PROFIT has been performed 46 times in 6 states at Universities and educational conferences and featured in: The Huffington Post;  The Chronicle; Campus Progress; The Nation; International Political Forum; NPR; (NPR) MPBN; NPR (WYSO); WEWS ABC Channel 5; Mobilize.org; Portland Press Herald; The Fiscal Times; Washington Monthly; and the Digital Journal.

*Aaron Calafato is a performing artist and activist who creates Solo-Theater for Social Change. He is Co-Founder & Artistic Director of Student Debt Crisis and a leading national voice for student debt reform.Aaron isarecipient of a 2012 Emerging Artist Grant from The Puffin Foundation and is currently touring his original solo-piece FOR PROFIT.
