"The Company" is a brand new, in-depth acting experience just for middle and high school students! "The Company" is a BTOTS sponsored acting troupe designed for motivated students LIKE YOU who want to give themselves a firm foundation in the art of acting. Students will meet for 10 weeks for in-depth scene study and exploration. All skill levels are welcome, but acceptance into “The Company” will be determined by audition.

About the instructor:
Lauren Joy Fraley is a performer and theater creator, primarily interested in collaborative ensemble/devised projects; she is thrilled to be teaching at Brecksville Theater on the Square once again! Lauren has performed at The Cleveland Museum of Art with Theater Ninjas, and collaborated on many original theater projects at Cleveland Public Theatre including Earth Plays (ensemble), Free Radical and The Late Night Sketchbook (Marina/ensemble), The Secret Social in collaboration with Conni’s Avant Garde Restaurant (Étude), and The Reverie Oracle. She has worked as an actor-educator with CLIMB Theatre, a teaching artist at Karamu House and Children’s Theatre of Charlotte (NC), and currently teaches in the Community Engagement & Education Department at PlayhouseSquare. Lauren holds a Bachelor’s degree in theater from Bowling Green State University and has trained at NaCl Theatre, and La MaMa Umbria in Spoleto, Italy.
