CITY BALLET OF CLEVELAND ANNOUNCES ANNUAL NUTCRACKER AUDITIONS 
 
City Ballet of Cleveland, formerly Cleveland City Dance Company, a 
non-profit 501(c)(3), pre-professional ballet company is excited to 
announce auditions for their annual performance of “A Uniquely Cleveland Nutcracker.”

In partnership with the Ohio Arts Council and Cuyahoga Arts & Culture, the company is calling dancers ages 8 and up (minimum of one year dance experience) to audition Saturday, September 14th at Cleveland City Dance, 13108 Shaker Square in Cleveland for the performances to be held Saturday, December 7th and Sunday, December 8th at Tri-C’s Eastern Campus in Cleveland.

Rehearsals will take place at Cleveland City Dance from September through December on Saturdays and Sundays with select advanced dancers having additional weekly evening rehearsals.

The performance will be directed by Courtney Laves-Mearini, former dancer with Cleveland Ballet, Atlanta Ballet, and more. Ballet Master is Mark Otloski, former principal with 
the Cleveland Ballet.
