*Broadview Heights Spotlights’ to Present Baby: The Musical*

The Broadview Heights Spotlights Theater’s next production will be the 1984
Broadway musical, *Baby *by Sybille Pearson, David Shire, and Richard
Maltby, Jr.  It tells the story of three couples on a university campus as
they deal with the painful, rewarding and agonizingly funny consequences of
this universal experience. There are the college students, barely at the
beginning of their adult lives; the thirty-somethings, having trouble
conceiving but determined to try; and the middle aged parents, looking
forward to seeing their last child graduate from college when a night of
unexpected passion lands them back where they started.

The show will run at *7:30PM* *on* *Fridays and Saturdays, September 13 – 28
*.  There will be one matinee at *3:00PM on Sunday, September 22*.
Performances
will occur at the Cultural Arts Building, located on the Broadview Center
Property (next to the Police Station), 9543 Broadview Road.  Tickets are
$13.00 for Adults and $12.00 for Students and Senior Citizens. Tickets may

the Spotlights’ reservation line, 440-526-4404.

A *dinner theater* option is available *at 6:30PM on Saturday,
September 14*featuring a catered dinner by Broadview Heights' newest
restaurant, "Fuel."
Dinner guests may bring a bottle of wine to enjoy with their dinner.  The
cost is $30 per person ($26 per person for a table of six) and includes
appetizers, a double-entree dinner, coffee/pop, dessert, gratuity, and
admission to the show.

The Spotlights’ production is directed and music directed by Ryan Bergeron,
a recent graduate from New York University where he earned a Masters Degree
in Musical Theater and an Advanced Certificate in Vocal Pedagogy.  The six
principal roles will be played by Sarah Maria Hess, Tim Schuerger, Tara
Corkery, Tim Anderson, Pam Matthews, and Rob Albrecht.  Supporting cast
members include Jenilee Grabenhorst, Karen Johnston, Daryl Kelley, Jackie
Luthy, Jackie Phelps, Justin Schickler, and Shane Stahl.
