The Baldwin Wallace University Conservatory of Music introduces
school year ensemble opportunities for young musicians!

Below is a list of our Ensemble offerings with required auditions and their websites.

Four orchestras accommodate all levels of playing, from beginning to advanced.
Saturdays, beginning September 7
String Ensemble

Junior Youth Orchestra
Senior Youth Orchestra (for string, woodwind, and percussion students)
New Member Auditions
By appointment only!

Men's Chorus<http://www.bw.edu/academics/conservatory/outreach/prep/menschorus/>, audition required*
Open to male singers from the Greater Cleveland area and the BW Community. Sing a wide variety of music written especially for the male voice.
Tuesdays, beginning August 27
New Member Auditions
Monday & Tuesday, August 26 and 27, 2013 from 3:00 - 6:50 pm

Youth Honors Wind Ensemble<http://www.bw.edu/academics/conservatory/outreach/YHWE/>, audition required*
For woodwind, brass, and percussion players with a minimum of one year private study.
Concert Winds-for students in grades 6-9 / Symphonic Winds-for students in grades 9-12
Saturdays, beginning September 7
New Member auditions by appointment any of the following dates/times:
      Wednesday, August 28 - 4:00pm to 7:00pm
      Thursday, August 29 - 4:00pm to 6:00pm
      Sunday, September 1 - 2:00pm to 4:00pm
      Wednesday, September 4 - 4:00pm to 7:00pm
      Thursday, September 5 - 4:00pm to 6:00pm

String Chamber Ensembles<http://www.bw.edu/academics/conservatory/outreach/chmus/>, audition required*
For students with two years prior playing experience. String students will work together to play in trios, quartets or quintets.

Saturday, September 14, 8:00 am - 12:00 pm

Honors Chorales<http://www.bw.edu/academics/conservatory/outreach/prep/chorale/index.html>, audition required*
BW's two select choral groups for singers in grades 6-12. Music from a range of styles, historical periods, and cultural practices will be a part of this year's learning experiences and concert performances.
Mondays, beginning September 16
Youth Honors Chorale - for students grades 6-8 (exceptional 5th graders may be considered)
Senior Honors Chorale - for students grades 9-12

New Member Auditions
      Thursday, September 5 - 6:30pm - 8:30pm
      Thursday, September 10 - 6:30pm - 8:30 pm

* Auditions for Ensembles
Participation in the Youth Orchestras, Honors Chorales, Junior Youth Honors Wind Ensemble, String Chamber Ensembles and Men's Chorus require an audition. LESSONS and CLASSES:

Private lesson<http://www.bw.edu/academics/conservatory/outreach/prep/lessons/> teachers of all instruments, including voice, are available to teach beginners to experienced musicians. We offer continuous enrollment. Call today to for your private lesson recommendation!

Classes<http://www.bw.edu/academics/conservatory/outreach/child/> are available for ages 6 months to adults. We offer easy online registration for many of our classes!

Selected lessons and classes are also available at our Satellite Programs<http://www.bw.edu/academics/conservatory/outreach/prep/satellites/> in Brecksville and Medina.
