announces auditions for:

Shrek the Musical
Directed & Choreographed by Pierre-Jacques Brault

Auditions -
Friday, September 13, 2013 beginning at 6:30 pm in Corning Auditorium
Saturday, September 14, 2013 - beginning at 1:00 pm in Corning Auditorium
Callbacks are by invitation only - Sunday, September 15, 2013 in Room 212

Rehearsals begin
Monday, October 14.  Rehearsals will be Sunday thru Thursdays.

Production Dates
16 to 17 total performances
November 22 thru December 15, 2013 - Matinees 2:00 pm, Evening 7:30 pm
Saturdays, November 23 & December 7, 2013 are DOUBLE PERFORMANCES
Saturday, December 14, 2013 is a possible double performance.
NOTE:  Daytime performances for schools:  Thu, December 5 & December 12, 2013 11:00 am

Requirements:
CALL FOR APPOINTMENT

Preparation:
- Come prepared with a short song.  (verse/one chorus)
- Bring sheet music in the proper key.
- An accompanist will play for all auditioners.

Casting Information:
All roles available
No AEA contracts available for this production

Ages Needed:
Ages 16 and up for most roles.
Children ages 8-12 - Two roles available:  Young Fiona & Young Shrek (see below)

CASTING PERSONNEL STATEMENT:
"We are seeking performers with strong legit and pop Broadway voices. Almost all ensemble members must sing well enough to cover a principal role.
All cast must at least move well. Actors of all ethnicities are encouraged to attend this call."
