SINGLE TICKETS FOR LCCC STOCKER ARTS CENTER'S 2013-2014 PERFORMING
ARTISTS SERIES ON SALE TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 3

            Single tickets go on sale for the 2013-2014 Stocker Arts
Center Performing Artists Series season at 12 p.m., Tuesday, September
3.  This "groovy" set of six shows are once-in-a-lifetime experiences
for the audience because they are live on stage. Stocker Arts Center
provides the best of the arts at affordable ticket prices close to home.
            For ticket information on any of the performances or to
receive a season brochure, call the Stocker Arts Center box office at
(440) 366-4040. The box office hours are Monday-Friday, 12-6 p.m. and
one and a half hours prior to curtain time.

            Single tickets are $36 each for orchestra seating and $29
each mezzanine seating. Valet parking is available for each show for $5
per car.

Subscriptions for three, four, five or six shows may be purchased at the
Stocker box office from 12-6 p.m., Monday through Friday. Tickets can

THE RAVE-ONS! A Musical Tribute to Buddy Holly

New York City-based Todd Meredith and The Rave-Ons! have delighted
audiences across the country with this high-energy musical tribute to
the popular hits of Buddy Holly and the Crickets, including "Peggy Sue,"
"That'll Be the Day" and "Rave On." For the past four years, Todd
Meredith has appeared nationally as Buddy Holly in tribute concerts and
in "Buddy-The Buddy Holly Story." As The Rave-Ons! he is joined by
fellow "Buddy" cast members Bill Morey on upright bass, Joe Cosmo Cogen
on drums and Jeremy Renner on guitar. This energetic tribute band has
played to standing ovations from BB Kings in New York City to Reno,
Nevada.

Masters of Motown

In the early 1960s some of the most iconic names in the history of
popular music were discovered in the Motor City, better known as Motown.
Masters of Motown is a celebration of these artists, their music and
their style. The show features stylishly costumed, fully choreographed
tributes to both male and female groups backed by a live band. Masters
of Motown will take you on a stroll down memory lane as they perform the
incredible harmonies and smooth moves made famous by some of the
greatest recording acts of all-time - The Temptations, Gladys Knight &
The Pips, Marvin Gaye & Tammi Terrell, Smokey Robinson & The Miracles,
The Four Tops, Diana Ross & The Supremes and more. Come and sing along
with some of the great hits we all remember and love.

Sandy Hackett in My Buddy

Legendary comedian Buddy Hackett is brought to life in this one-man show
told by the person closest to him ... his son, Sandy Hackett. As he
explores the personal side of the deep bond between father and son,
Sandy will share a collection of hysterical and charming anecdotes. In
this funny, witty and entertaining show, Sandy tells some surprising
stories about the comic genius who changed comedy forever. Through
original, distinctive, humorous and poignant Hackett storytelling, Sandy
takes the audience on a journey of comedy and life - as he shares songs,
video, and never-before-seen photos from the personal Hackett archives
and recreates some of his father's legendary comedy moments. Many may
remember Sandy Hackett from his hilarious performance in Sandy Hackett's
Rat Pack Show, which was part of Stocker's 2011-2012 Performing Artists
Series.

music of Abba, reviving special memories of when Abba ruled the

missed. If you're looking for an excuse to party, reminisce or simply be
entertained by the best music ever, then Abba Mania is for you! Join in
and enjoy all of your favorites including: "Mamma Mia," "Voulez Vous,"
"Dancing Queen," "Winner Takes It All," and many more. If you loved the
live show or movie version of "Mamma Mia," you're going to love this
show.

"The Miracle Worker"

Few stories are as timeless or reveal the courage and resilience of the
human spirit as well as "The Miracle Worker." Helen Keller, deaf and
blind since infancy, finds her way to knowledge and understanding with
the help of Anne Sullivan, her gifted tutor. This stirring dramatization
has been mesmerizing audiences for decades. In some of the most
emotion-packed scenes ever presented on stage, Helen overcomes rage and
confusion to triumph over her physical disabilities. "The Miracle
Worker" is a story of victory over unbelievable odds accomplished
through perseverance and love, and is being performed by Montana
Repertory Theatre, the same company whose previous performances at
Stocker have included "Bus Stop" (2010-2011 season) and "Lost in
Yonkers" (2006-2007 season).

"Hair"

Let your hair down and "Let the Sun Shine in" as "Hair," the original
Broadway rock-musical that defined an era, comes to Stocker Arts Center.
"Hair" is a joyous celebration of youth and a poignant journey through
the tumultuous 1960s America. This exuberant musical about searching for
truth, peace and love in Vietnam War-era America continues to strike a
resonant chord with audiences of all ages. The themes and struggles in
"Hair" seem as vital and relevant today. The long list of chart-topping
hit songs, "Aquarius," "Let the Sun Shine In," "Good Morning Starshine"
and "Easy to be Hard," became anthems of counter-culture and the sexual
revolution and continue to have a profound impact on audiences.
