/Murder by the Falls/ kicks off each new season at CVLT with an original
audience-participation comedy/mystery. Money raised from this highly
popular event goes to the general operating expenses of the theatre.

You'll be be grouped 8 per 'detective squad'. You may choose your fellow
Detectives or CVLT will assign your partners for you. You and your team
will compete for prizes, searching the Village for clues, and helping
our intrepid detectives to solve the crime! Space is limited and tickets
always sell fast! Get yours today!

This year, you and your fellow detectives will be asked to help solve
*"CEREAL KILLER"*. This original script by Greta and Andrew Rothman
takes place at the Purple Horseshoe Casino, where three highrollers
(Count Chocula and the brothers Boo and Franken Berry) have met untimely
ends. Proprietor Lucky the Leprechaun tries to keep the situation under
control, despite the antics of his bumbling staff (Snap, Crackle and
Pop), a mobster (Tony the Tiger), the jealous hostess (Trix Rabbit), and
various other guests and personnel. Last-gambler-standing Toucan Sam,
fearing he may be the next victim of the "Cereal Killer," has called in
Inspector Gotcha and his temporary partner, crime novelist Grayson Bran
(played by special guest *Leon Bibb*), to solve the mystery! Cleveland
TV personality *Jan Jones* also appears as shady gambler Mini Wheats.

"Sherlock Holmes," featuring William Gillette, made its Broadway debut
at the Garrick Theater on Nov. 6, 1899. It was an instant success, and
Gillette went on to present Sherlock Holmes approximately 1,300 times
(third in the historical stage-record), before American and English
audiences.

Now, in Ken Ludwig's mystery/thriller POSTMORTEM, the actor-manager,
playwright and heart-throb William Gillette has arranged a seance at his
Connecticut castle on the anniversary of another friend's suicide.
Believing it was not a suicide, but rather a murder, the scene is set
for Gillette's greatest role as he plans to solve the case himself in
the style of the detective he's played for over 30 years!

Don't miss this marvelous whodunit, filled with jealousy, revenge, love,
comedy, and even a bit of parody.

Embrace uncertainty using the tools of improvisation: agreement,
spontaneity, listening, and character. Rediscover the art of play,
explore the fun of failure, and silence the voice of judgment in your
head! Actors will improve their ability to make bold choices, develop
characters on the fly, use their bodies effectively, listen deeply, and
form connections with emotional authenticity. Students will receive
personalized feedback to encourage development on both a professional
and personal level. Open to adults and older teens. Previous stage
experience is desirable but not required.

Course Instructor Tracy Cubbal has been a fixture of the Cleveland
improv scene since 2005. She has studied at the Annoyance, iO, and
Second City in Chicago and performed at venues in Cleveland, Columbus,
Chicago, and New York. Tracy performs with Point of No Return Improv in
Cuyahoga Falls and with Angry Ladies of Improv. She hosts Cleveland's
weekly open improv jam.

"Very warm, supportive, and non-judgmental. The best acting class I've
ever taken!"
"This class inspired me. A great confidence and self-esteem builder."
"Learned to think on my feet and get over my fear. Great, great class -
just what I needed!"
"Something that can urge the inner child out of almost anyone." -
Barbara Christian, The Chagrin Valley Times
