If you are a student entering 8th grade thru freshman year of college and you are passionate about theatre, then you don't want to miss these two exciting opportunities!

Workshop #1: "THE NON-MUSICAL AUDITION"

Workshop #2: "PURSUING THE ARTS"

"The Non-Musical Audition"
Sunday, September 15; 2-5pm
Location TBA
Cost: $60

Do you ever feel the urge to cry when you hear the phrase "you need a monologue"? Are you unsure to how make the most of cold-readings? If so, then this is the workshop for you! We will be focusing on all aspects of non-musical theatre auditions. Topics will include:

1) How to choose and prepare the perfect monologue(s)
2) Cold reading techniques
3) What do casting personnel REALLY want to see from you?

You'll have the opportunity to receive coaching on a monologue of your choice and/or to work on a cold-reading. Additionally, everyone will be given a new monogloue that is tailored specifically for them (and no, it will not be an overdone piece that everyone has heard)!

"Pursuing the Arts"
Sunday, September 22; 2-5pm
Location TBA
Cost: $60

So you love theater and you think you want to make it a career. Now what?! This workshop starts where that question ends. We will cover everything from choosing the right college, working professionally, living in NYC or Chicago, etc. The arts CAN be a financially rewarding career, but you've got to know the right moves to make. This workshop is designed to help you figure out the many different options that exist to help you realize your dream!

SPECIAL OFFER: If you sign up for both workshops, the total cost will be reduced by $20 (you only pay $100 instead of $120)!
