*September 5th Networking Party at Liquid*

We'll kick off the first annual Cleveland 48 Hour Film Horror Project with
our first networking event this Thursday September 5th from 7-10pm at
Liquid. Come learn more about the competition, meet filmmakers and actors,
and network with other members of the film community. Liquid has a Happy
Hour until 8pm with half off beer, wine & cocktails, and they'll also
feature $1 beef tacos, $2 specialty tacos, and $4 margaritas.

*Cleveland 48 Hour Film Horror Project*

The 48 Hour Horror Film Project comes to Cleveland on the weekend of
October 18 - 20, 2013. Filmmakers from all over the Cleveland will compete
to see who can make the best short *horror film* in only 48 hours.

Do you like to be scared? Do you love Hitchcock? This project is for you. Learn

Only a limited number of teams will get to participate in this
ground-breaking event. All completed films will be screened at Tower City
Cinemas on October 29th, and the Best Film will win a cash prize of $300
and free entry into next year's 48HFP competition. Enter today!

This year, teams will be accepted on a first come, first served basis.
Teams that participated in the summer 48HFP will recieve $25 off the
registration fee, so make sure you log in when you sign up. Once the
initial registration is complete, we will add teams to a waiting list.

*Screenings, Prizes & Other Events*

All completed films will be screened to a sold out audience of friends,
family, ghosts, and ghouls at Tower City Cinemas on Tuesday October 29th at
7pm and 9:30pm. The Best Film from this year's Horror Project will win a
cash prize of $300. In addition a small panel of judges will determine a
number of other awards including some 48HFP favorites like Best Directing
and Best Editing along with new awards such as Most Blood Splattered and
crowning a Scream Queen. Other events yet to be announced include an
official Horror Project poster contest, and a Halloween costumed Awards
Ceremony. Remember we only have a limited amount of terror to spread so
register early so you don't miss out!
