Teachers Needed for Akron After School Classes:
Teachers are needed for Wacky World Traveler, an after school class for the Akron Public School system.  Currently Mondays are available, with possible subbing days. The classes are held in one of the Akron Public Schools elementary schools---the site is still TBA.
Classes are from 3:45-5:15, starting October 14th and running through December 5th. There is also a spring session which runs February 10th-April 3rd. You do not have to commit to both sessions.
Classes pay $30 each.  Teaching experience with strong classroom management skills is preferred .  A BCI/FBI check is needed as well.
Wacky World Traveler shows the students some of the fun, fascinating, and, yes, wacky, people, creatures and places that exist on Planet Earth. Through art, games, music, and other creative activities the students gain a greater appreciation of the world.
Theatre educators would work well in teaching WWT. Teachers with a passion for travel or other cultures are encouraged to apply. A great opportunity for education majors!
