Now that I've joined the e-blast, I'd like to resubmit the information for THE MET: LIVE IN HD'S first opera of their 2013-2014 season, EUGENE ONEGIN:


THE MET: LIVE IN HD'S eighth season begins with Tchaikovsky's EUGENE ONEGIN. Anna Netrebko and Mariusz Kwiecien star as the lovestruck Tatiana and the imperious Onegin in Tchaikovsky's fateful romance. Deborah Warner's new production, set in the late 19th century, moves episodically from farmhouse to ballroom, with a powerful snowstorm providing the dramatic setting for the finale. Piotr Beczala is Lenski, Onegin's friend turned rival. Russian maestro Valery Gergiev conducts.



This extraordinary live event takes place on Saturday, October 5th at 12:55 PM with the encore presentation on Wednesday, October 9th at 6:30 PM. Tickets are available in various theatres around Ohio and can be purchased at http://www.fathomevents.com/#!eugene-onegin
The eighth season of The Met: Live in HD will feature 10 live presentations and 10 encore presentations through May 2014. All live events take place on Saturdays. In addition to the live events, encore performances will be exhibited the Wednesday after each live event.
