I FORGOT THE SONG LINK IN THE ORIGINAL ONE

Dear Cleveland Theatrical Community,

As Some of  you may or may not know, my Uncle Pete passed away unexpectedly
last week.  His private family memorial service is taking place this Sunday
at 10:30 AM at Edgewater Park in Lakewood. Earlier this week my mom asked
me if I knew the ABBA song I BELIEVE IN ANGELS (or I Have A Dream). She
asked me if I would like to sing it at the memorial and I most definitely
declined. (I'm not very good at holding my shit together at any kind of
funeral service... I know. Shocking!)

SO... I was thinking. If I could get a group of all of YOU lovely people
together, I would love to try to organize a sort of singing flash mob.
Here's the vision...
As we are standing lakeside on the pier , around 10:45, one person... all
in white (maybe carrying some form of white flower) wanders up randomly,
singing that song. Then, one by one (or in pairs or small groups) other
people, same white clothing and a flower or candle or sparkler or dove
carrying a newborn white kitten in its beak, also wander up (hopefully at
the same part in a similar key) joining in the song until everyone has
formed a circle around my family (right around the the held "I
belieeeeeeeeeeeve... in angels" would be the most amazing thing ever) and
sing to us/them. Then, as soon as the song is finished, as quickly and
randomly as they arrived, all the singers will casually wander off in
different directions without another word or look to my family. Like angels
coming with comfort, dropping it off and gliding away to help the next
family.

I know it's early for a Sunday... But it would be about 30 minutes of your
time... and it would be something that I know my uncle would have
appreciated and will REALLY mean the world to my family.

If you can find it in your hearts and schedules to participate, a group is
already meeting at 10:15 AM ON THE WESTERN UPPER SECTION OF THE PARK BY THE
PAGODA PAVILLION (atop the sledding hill)   Tim A. and Ryan B. will lead a
brief rehearsal and the timing of who goes where will be mapped out.  I'll
post a link to the version of the song I've already asked everyone to use
as a guide.  It's somber but hopeful and the perfect song for a memorial
service.

Our family could really use a little music back in our lives right now...
Please come tomorrow and help make it!

(Note: All white isn't necessary.  Think "seaside casual" when dressing.
And PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE... No jokesters.  Otherwise, I'm coming to your
next family funeral in drag, with crotchless panties and an entourage.
