[NEohioPAL] Auditions for "A 1940's Radio Christmas Carol" at Huntington Playhouse

Round two of
auditions for “A 1940’s Radio Christmas Carol” will take place on Monday,
October 7th at 7:30 PM at Huntington Playhouse. Production dates are December 5th through December 22nd and will be directed by Tom Meyrose.
The show is
set in a radio studio on Christmas Eve in 1943, where “A Christmas Carol” will
be performed by the “Mutual Manhattan Variety Cavalcade” with guest star
William St. Clare and the group of “regulars” that week in and week out,
broadcast from the studios of WOV.
The casting
needs are for men: one age 17 to 20, three in their 30’s to 40’s and two over
50.  The women can be any age.  All performers will be playing several  different radio rolls and should be able to
sing – or at least carry a tune.  There
are no rolls for small children. No appointments are necessary.
 Rehearsals
will be Mondays through Thursdays evenings with an occasional Sunday afternoon. 
Huntington
Playhouse is located at 28601 Lake Road in Bay Village and is an affiliate of
the Cleveland Metroparks.
