*OPEN CALL, NO NEED FOR AN APPOINTMENT*
*
*
*The Lorain Palace Theater Presents:*
*"A CHRISTMAS CAROL"*
*
*
As the leaves change and the gentle cold telegraphs winter's coming chill,
consider flocking North to Lorain to audition for the *Charles Dickens* *
classic,* *"A Christmas Carol."* Set in Victorian England, this timeless
tale focuses on the stodgy, warped miser, Scrooge, who has lost his taste
for happiness in general, and Christmas cheer in particular. This miscreant
learns his lesson through the intercession of 3 spirits who whisk him off
on an adventure through time where Scrooge comes face to face with his
past, present, and unsettling future.

Auditionees should prepare *one monologue, not necessarily from this show,
and sing one a-capella Christmas Song.*

NOTE: *Singing ability is not paramount for casting!* The show will feature
a "Christmas Chorus" which will supply hearty holiday tunes to move the
audience during set times of the play. Singing ability is more a
consideration for that Chorus, and not at all important in casting for our
lead roles.

Be the harbinger of Christmas in Lorain by auditioning October 10th at the
Lorain Palace Theater!
*Callbacks TBA. *
