Karamu Performing Arts Theatre is seeking a Props Master for Its Production of "Cut Flowers", opening on October 25.

About the Play
In an upscale Washington DC flower shop, six men and one courageous woman debate all aspects of being African American right now. As the play unfolds, various subjects are brought up for debate including; slavery, aids, oral sex, crack cocaine, religion and homophobia. As the debates reach a boiling point, each person is forced to confront their contradictions and realize their true beliefs on the matters at hand.
This is the third production of this particular work having received rave reviews during its world premiere at the Chicago Theatre Company. The play received five Theatre Alliance Awards including the Lorraine Hansberry Award for Best Writing of a Play. The play contains adult themes and content
