Canton Film Festival presents Premiere of "Dead Life 2 Necrodevils"

October 13, 2013 at 7:00pm

Sunday, Oct. 13th the Canton Film Festival will show 2 horror Shorts,
Suffer a film by Sean McCardle, and Beyond the Basement Door by Jason
Huls, as well as the Premiere of Dead Life 2 Necrodevils by Bill
Schotten.  Q&As with filmmakers and meeting the cast and crew after film
screenings.

Dead Life 2 Synopsis: Four months after the apocalypse was all it took
to turn people into monsters and monsters into devils. A group of
friends seek refuge in a camp of dangerous roughnecks only to find Camp
Wormwood may offer protection from the hordes of walking dead but hold
many dangers of its own. But once the living dead begin to change into
unstoppable "Necrodevils" things begin to look hopeless. It's good guys
versus bad guys versus worse guys in this post-apocalyptic sequel. Who
will come out on top and what will be left.

Silent Film Special: "Nosferatu"

October 27, 2013  at 7:00pm

See the Classic Silent Film NOSFERATU, the original Dracula, with
accompaniment by Jay Spencer at the Kilgen Pipe Organ. The evening will
also featuring a reading of Edgar Allan Poe's The Raven by Brian
Westerley.  Truly a can't-miss event, and a great way to get in the
Halloween spirit!

Annual Halloween Showing: "Rocky Horror Picture Show"

October 31, 2013 at 7:30pm

Join us for the annual showing of this cult classic, featuring
Frank-N-Furter and all of his friends.  Show up to the theatre dressed
as your favorite character to participate in the costume contest
beginning at 7:00pm.  Prop bags will be available for $8 each.  Come
sing along, do the timewarp, and throw some toast as we celebrate
Halloween!
