Under the direction of Edward Arthur Shure, the Cuyahoga Falls Community Chorus welcomes singers of all ages from all throughout Northeast Ohio. The Chorus rehearses on Monday evenings at 7:00 p.m. at Summit Christian School (Newberry Park), 2800 13th Street in Cuyahoga Falls.

The Cuyahoga Falls Community Chorus, affiliated with the Cuyahoga Falls Parks and Recreation Department, has been hailed by Cuyahoga Falls Mayor, Don L. Robart as, “Ambassadors for our Community.”

The Cuyahoga Falls Community Chorus provides an opportunity for singers of all ages to enjoy the fun and fellowship of singing together in a friendly, family-like environment. Additionally, the Chorus serves the community by performing in retirement and nursing homes; hospitals and rehabilitation facilities; public libraries; and for civic events and organizations as well as churches throughout the region.

The Chorus typically performs a holiday program and a spring program consisting of music ranging from pop and show tunes to light classical and sacred works.

The Chorus reaches thousands of people across Northeast Ohio. In October of 2004, under the direction of Edward A. Shure, the Chorus performed for President George W. Bush during his historic visit to Cuyahoga Falls. Additionally, the Chorus performs annually at the Tree Festival in Akron; for the opening of the Ice Rink in beautiful downtown Cuyahoga Falls; two performances at the Cuyahoga Falls Library; a joint Parks and Recreation holiday concert with the Community Band and a special Parks and Recreation spring concert honoring veterans; and in 2006 the Chorus performed for the Grand Opening of the Holiday Lights at Blossom, for which they were invited back for the 2007 opening.

The Chorus welcomes singers of all ages for all parts from Cuyahoga Falls and all throughout Northeast Ohio. The Chorus rehearses on Monday evenings at 7:00 p.m. at Summit Christian School at Newberry Park, 2800 13th Street in Cuyahoga Falls. There are no auditions! The final selections for the winter concert season are being rotated into rehearsals, so just stop by to join. Membership is FREE!
