Ballet in Cleveland proudly presents two of the nation's finest names in
dance, Ashley Bouder, principal dancer with The New York City Ballet, and
Phil Chan, general manager of Armitage Gone! Dance Company in New York
City. Bouder and Chan will make an exclusive Cleveland appearance for
master classes and ballet workshops at the Gund Dance Studio at
PlayhouseSquare and will provide ballet instruction of the highest quality
available. Bouder and Chan bring years of experience in the finest dance
institutions in the world.

(an intermediate level of ballet training is required)

12:00pm-1:00pm | Ballet Technique Class

1:00pm-1:45pm | Jump Workshop
*All participants will receive a complimentary copy of
Pointe Magazine, in which Ashley was featured in an article about the
secrets to her jumps. Ms. Bouder will autograph copies following the
workshop in the Q&A/Autograph session. Mr. Chan will autograph headshots
for participants as well.*

2:00pm-2:30pm | Q&A/Autograph Session with Ashley and Phil

*Dancers ages 13+ Class :*
(Dancers should demonstrate an intermediate to advanced level of ballet
training)

3:30pm-5:00pm | Ballet Technique Class
5:15pm-6:15pm | Variation Class
*Ms. Bouder will teach and coach female participants in the variation from
the Balanchine ballet Tchaikovsky Pas De Deux. She will discuss the
artistry in this role and how to bring one's unique personality to a
performance. Mr. Chan will coach male dancers in the mechanics of jumps and
turns.*

6:15pm-6:45pm | Q&A and Autograph Session with Ashley and Phil.
*Ms. Bouder will autograph copies of her full-page ad in Pointe Magazine for
Bloch Pointe Shoes. Mr. Chan will autograph headshots for participants as
well.

**Registration Includes:*

   1. Copy of Pointe Magazine issue (younger classes) or Bloch Pointe Shoe
   ad (older classes) as well as headshots of Mr. Chan (both classes) for
   autographs.
   2. A commemorative photograph of the dancer and his or her class (these
   will be emailed to you following the class, and printed copies can be sent
   to residencies by request).
   3. Access to Q&A and autograph sessions following the class.
   4. Other ballet-themed items provided by our sponsors.
