*THE BURIAL AT THEBES by Seamus Heaney*

*Synopsis:*
Original music and songs punctuate the conflict in this beautiful poetic
play about the fate of Antigone.  The action takes place in Thebes the day
after Antigone's brothers battled and died in a fight for the throne.
Their father Oedipus has been exiled.  It is a story relevant to our times,
as dictators continue to suppress the rights of women.  Antigone is a
strong woman, whose beliefs drive her to bury her "traitor" brother,
knowingly disobeying the law set up by the new king.

Cast includes:

*Zoe Guy, Aubrey Cornwell, Becca Lambright, Laura Mueller, Amanda Merritt,
Rosalie Phillips, Lane Chesler, Chloe Schwartz, Mackenzie Bruce,
Christopher Vinci, and Matt Lohiser.*
