Theater Ninjas conclude their tour of the world premiere of Obie Award-winner Erin Courtney's Black Cat Lost! The last stop: Summit Artspace in Akron!

Black Cat Lost dives into the beauty of impermanence using ritual, song, zen poetry, silent film and memoir. Three shifting characters move through a kaleidoscopic view of life, death and the unseen. This will be the Ninjas’ first touring performance, moving to a different location in Northeastern Ohio every weekend.

Audiences will be invited to pen their own Zen Death Poem. Each unique performance of Black Cat Lost will be shaped by the audience’s memories, thoughts and voices.

Accompanying Black Cat Lost is the remount of The Refrain: an elegiac memorial, a celebratory wake, a memory, a fiction, a half smile in the middle of a song.
