My wife called me this morning, on her way to work and said she
had been listening to her iphone music on the way in. and heard
Best Time (of my life), and couldnt remember if I had written
that one about her. I asked her if she actuall listened to the
lyrics, which outlines basically how we met. She said yes, but
thought that I had written a different song for her. I told her I
write all my songs for her, even the Mean ones. as a musician, I
have always worn my heart on my sleeve, and express what ever I'm
feeling at that time in the song that I'm writing. Best Time (of
my life) was a great example of how I felt about my wife not only
back then, but still to this day. At the end of the conversation
she said thats a really good song. I hope you agree!
