*Talespinner Children’s Theatre announces open auditions for its 2014
season.*

*Talespinner Children’s Theatre (TCT)* Executive Artistic Director Alison
Garrigan is proud to announce open auditions for its upcoming 2014 season.
*TCT* is Cleveland’s only professional children’s theatre, located on the
near west side in The Reinberger Auditorium in the Detroit Shoreway
district.  For the past two seasons, *TCT* has been garnering audience and
critical praise by developing and producing highly imaginative, original,
collaborative and interactive professional works for children that also
stimulate creative growth in its artists. At any time, these pieces have
involved acting, dance, music, puppetry, tumbling, drumming, and numerous
other artistic disciplines as imagined by the artistic teams working with
and for *TCT*, and the company is open to all creative
possibility--reaching across socio-economic, cultural and traditional
boundaries to bring theatre to the community in its fullest form providing
excitement, growth and joy for all who are involved in and/or touched by
its work.

We are looking for talented, dedicated, imaginative theatre artists, age 18
or older.  Must be willing to share your imagination with others, connect
with an audience, and to work collaboratively with an artistic team.

*AESOP’S PIRATE ADVENTURE—by Michael Sepesy, directed by Cathleen O’Malley*

April 5—27, 2013

(Rehearsals begin February 16, 2013)



*THE FLOATING DOLLS—a polish folktale, adapted by Toni K. Thayer*

June 14 – July 6, 2013

(Rehearsals begin April 17, 2013)



*LOKI & LUCY—a Norse Mythology Story—by Michael Geither*

September 20—October 12, 2013

(Rehearsals begin July 30, 2013)



*CLARA & THE NUTCRACKER—adapted by Anne McEvoy*

November 29 – December 21, 2013

(Rehearsals begin October 7, 2013)



All performing positions are paid.



Audition information:

*BY APPOINTMENT ONLY*

*When:*  Sunday, December 8, 4-10PM, and Monday, December 9, 5PM-9:30PM

*What:* You will be given a one-and-a-half hour block appointment.   Blocks
on Sunday will be 4PM-5:30PM, 5:30PM-7PM, 7PM-8:30PM, and 8:30 PM-10PM.  Blocks
on Monday will be 5PM-6:30PM, 6:30PM-8PM, and 8PM-9:30PM.

Come dressed and prepared to move.  *You will be there for the full
hour-and-a-half.* No memorized material is necessary.  There will be story
work, and imaginative collaboration.

Bring headshot and resume.  *TCT is not offering AEA contracts at this time*
