The Fine Arts Association
announces auditions for:

Doctor Dolittle
Book, Music and Lyrics by Leslie Bricusse
Based on the Doctor Dolittle stories by Hugh Lofting and The Twentieth Century Fox film

Directed by David Malinowski

Auditions -
Monday, November 25, 2013 beginning at 6:30 pm in Corning Auditorium
Tuesday, November 26, 2013 - beginning at 6:30 pm in Corning Auditorium

Rehearsals begin
Sunday, December 1.  Rehearsals will be Sunday thru Thursdays.  There will be a 2-week break for the holidays from Dec. 16-Jan. 1.
Rehearsals resume Thursday, January 2.

Production Dates
February 14-March 2, 2014 - Matinees 2:00 pm, Evening 7:30 pm
NOTE:  Daytime performances for schools:  February 25 & 27, 2014 at 11:00 am

Requirements:
CALL FOR APPOINTMENT
Call Ann Hedger at 440-951-7500 x103 to make appointment
Auditions will be scheduled in small groups every half hour.

Preparation:
- Come prepared with a 1-minute memorized monologue by a character in a play, book or poem.  NOTE:  British accents will be used for this play.  Most characters are Standard British, except for Mathhew Mugg-Irish and Albert and Gertie Blossom-Yorkshire.
- Come prepared with 16-32 bars of a standard Music Theatre song.  No pop or rock songs, please.
- Bring sheet music in the proper key.
- An accompanist will play for all auditioners.
