Auditionsfor the next Brecksville Little Theatre production, the comedy-drama "A Thousand Clowns" willtake place:

Dates/Times:  Dec. 9 and 10 at 7 pm

Location:  Blossom Hill, 4450 Oakes Road,Brecksville, in Building 3.  Look for theBrecksville Little Theatre banner.

Summary:  An unemployed writer of children’s TVprograms is raising his 12-year old genius nephew in a care-free life style.It’s 1962 and well before dysfunctional families are the norm, so when New YorkChild Welfare Services come to investigate, the ex-writer must decide whetherto accept conformity in order to show himself a fit guardian. His choice is tofind gainful employment or lose his nephew, or. . . marry the social worker?

Rolesare available for five male actors and one female actor as follows:

Murray– 35 - 50 male, non-conformist unemployed television writer; 
Sandra – mid 20s-30s female social worker who takes her work seriously;
Albert - 30-50 male social worker;
Leo – 35 - 50 male, host of Chuckie Chipmunk children's show; 
Arnold - 30-late 40s male, Murray's dependable brother; 
Nick – 10–14 year-old male, Murray's bright and precocious nephew.
