Drama Director

Position Overview:  The Drama Director acts as an educational leader for
students participating in extra-curricular theatre activities. This
position oversees all aspects of the productions, sets budgets, hires staff
and coordinates publicity, house, and programs for the productions.
Responsibilities include setting performance and rehearsal schedules (Fall
Musical /Spring Play productions, community performances) in cooperation
with other school activities, coordinating auditions and working in
partnership with parent booster group to promote the dramatic arts.

This is a part time position for the Spring play scheduled for April, 2014
and candidates will be considered for a full-time teaching/directing
position beginning with the 2014-2015 school year.

Requirements: Successful experience in leading youth theatre, Bachelor’s
degree.  Must possess or be eligible for Ohio teaching certificate and/or
license.
