Saturdays, January 11 - March 1

Theatre is Magic!
Ages 3-5
10:30pm-12pm
Let your little ones be introduced to the magical world of theatre!
Students will learn to expand their creative imaginations through
art projects and games. Students will collaborate with others to
prepare and present a dramatization of their very own myth!

Theatre is Fun!
Ages 6-9
12:30pm-2:30pm
Students will expand their memorization and reading skills and
have fun while doing so! Theatre games and activities will teach
them new theatre vocabulary, elements and principles. These new
skills will be applied to a final performance of a classic story!


Mondays, January 6 - February 10


Express Yourself!

Ages 10-12

4:45pm-6:15pm

This class will help students expand their artistic abilities using a

variety of activities and methods (writing, performing and visual arts

projects) with an emphasis on building confidence in a variety of creative

outlets.



Wednesdays, January 8 - February 12


Creative Drama!

Ages 13-15

4:45pm-6:15pm

Students will gain skills in improvisation, performance and script

analysis through theatre activities with an emphasis on creativity and

teamwork.  Each class begins with a warm-up activity and ends with a

game that grounds and unifies the group.



Tuition is $75.  A $25 TrueNorth Membership paid annually for individuals

($70 for families) is required at time of registration.


Theatre is Magic! and Theatre is Fun! are instructed by Deborah Cluts.   Mrs.
Cluts has taught with Great Lakes Theater, Brecksville Theater on the
Square and Geauga Lyric Theater Guild.  She has also appeared onstage at
Cleveland Play House, Cleveland Public Theatre and Beck Center for the Arts.
Express Yourself! and Creative Drama! are instructed by Carrie
Williams.  Carrie
Williams has been a teaching artist  with Talespinner Children's Theatre
and Great Lakes Theater.  She has performed with Cleveland Public Theatre,
Cleveland Shakespeare Festival, and Talespinner.
