    CVLT's New Year's Eve event plans on "Bending Broadway"

CHAGRIN FALLS, OH - Chagrin Valley Little Theatre's stage will light up 
on New Year's Eve with an original cabaret entitled BENDING BROADWAY. 
This will be the 10th anniversary of CVLT's first New Year's musical 
event, which has become yet another holiday tradition at the Little Theatre.

This year's cabaret is the brainchild of Greta Rothman, who has been 
behind several previous years' events, including 'The Kid Inside', 
'Decades of Divas', 'Not Yet' and 'Forgotten Broadway'. She has also 
co-written and directed of several of CVLT's annual 'Murder By The 
Falls' events and two successful main stage musicals. Along with musical 
director Patrick Wickliffe, Rothman and friends will present a 
light-hearted evening of songs from Broadway musicals sung by performers 
of the opposite gender for which they were intended.

The performance, which features the vocal talents of Ryan Bernstein, 
Damian Henri, Laura Henri, Patricia Kall, Greta Rothman, Jen Ryan, 
Steven R. Tiderman and Eric Unhold, will include songs from a variety of 
Broadway musicals past and present. By swapping the men and women's 
vocal parts in duet and solo performances, Rothman and her cast hope to 
bring a new perspective to familiar material in addition to giving the 
audience some laughs.

The event begins at 8 PM on Tuesday, December 31st, and will be followed 
by a light reception with a champagne toast. Audience members will be 
out in plenty of time to reach other midnight destinations, whether 
those be other parties or the comfort of their own homes. Tickets are 
$25 each.

online at CVLT.org or by phone at 440-247-8955 between 1-6 PM, Monday 
through Saturday. Chagrin Valley Little Theatre is located at 40 River 
Street in historic Chagrin Falls Village. CVLT is generously funded by 
Cuyahoga County residents through Cuyahoga Arts and Culture and 
supported by the Ohio Arts Council.
