*SOLON CENTER FOR THE ARTS WILL WELCOME COLUMBUS CHILDREN’S THEATRE FOR
SPECIAL WORKSHOP AND PERFORMANCE OF “THE FROG PRINCE.”*

Join Solon Center for the Arts for a special one-day Funday and performance
of “The Frog Prince” by The Columbus Children’s Theatre on Friday, January
3, 2014. This one-day event is generously sponsored by LPV Productions.

The performance of “The Frog Prince,” appropriate for children ages 3 and
older, will be held from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm in the Calvetta Bros. Floor
Show Theater. Tickets for the performance are $4 per person and can be
purchased online at www.solonarts.org*. *

“The Frog Prince” is the classic retelling of the Grimm
Brothers’ fairytale adapted by William Goldsmith. You have to ask yourself
would a prince be princely even if he was green and covered with slime?
Would you kiss a frog that was mean, selfish and arrogant - even if you
knew he was a prince? Join Columbus Children’s Theatre’s Professional
Touring Company as we hop through the hysterical tale of humility and
forgiveness complete with audience participation.

Students, grades K to 4, wishing to participate in the all-day Funday
workshop (9:00 am - 4:30 pm) will spend the day immersed in the arts. The
day will include “The Frog Prince” themed art and music classes, seeing the
Columbus Children’s Theatre’s production of “The Frog Prince,” lunch and an
acting workshop taught by the CCT touring troupe. This unique all-day
experience is $38 and registration is currently being taken.

Bring the whole family and experience this timeless fairytale full of great
lessons and lots of fun. Solon Center for the Arts is located at 6315 SOM
Center Road on the corner of SOM Center and Bainbridge Roads. Tickets can
be purchased at www.solonarts.org*. For more information, call* SCA at
(440) 337-1400.
