[NEohioPAL] MUSICAL DIRECTOR NEEDED for Gay Rights Musical Revue

EraAir Theatre Company is seeking a musical director for “Hope Will Never
Be Silent,” a musical revue that chronicles the gay rights movement. It is
a collection of real stories from local people about their experiences with
coming out, bullying, and love juxtaposed with songs that exemplify the
hate, courage, and hope that surround the fight for equality. It isn't a
fictional tale or a historical piece - it is a true account of what is
happening right here, right now to human beings who have been
systematically detested, ridiculed, and marginalized for far too long. Hate
persists... but hope will never be silent.

Same-sex marriage is still illegal in Ohio. Over the last year, volunteers
have staged protests, marches, and mass weddings all over the state to
acquire signatures on a petition to get marriage equality on the ballot.
But there are many deeper problems facing the gay community. While this is
undeniably an important fight, other issues must also be brought to light.
"Hope Will Never Be Silent" attempts to expose the full scope of the gay
rights movement and the people it encompasses.

- Performance dates are Friday, March 28 at 8pm and Saturday, March 29 at
2:30pm at The Interbelt Nite Club.
- Rehearsal schedule will be developed based on cast/crew availability.
