"Don’t Dress for Dinner"   Comedy by Marc Camoleti (translated from the French by Robin Hawdon)
Directed by Marc Moritz
A Mainstage Production – Run dates May 1 - 18, 2014
      Thursdays at 7:30 p.m, Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m.,
      Sundays at 2:30 p.m.


Plot: Bernard’s plans for a romantic rendezvous with his mistress are complete! He’s lined up a gourmet caterer and also an alibi courtesy of his friend, Robert. But, when Bernard’s wife learns that Robert will be visiting for the weekend, she decides to stay in town for a surprise tryst of her own, setting the stage for a collision course of assumed identities and outrageous infidelities!

Open Call Auditions

Monday, January 27 beginning at 7 p.m.

Preparation: Auditions will consist of readings from the script.

Cast Requirements:

3 adult men
3 adult women

Bernard – Jacqueline’s husband
Jacqueline – Bernard’s wife and Robert’s lover
Robert – Bernard’s friend and Jacqueline’s lover
Suzette – the cook
Suzanne – Bernard’s mistress
George – Suzette’s husband

Director: MARC MORITZ  For Weathervane, his directing credits include The 39 Steps, 3 Guys Naked From The Waist Down and Shine with Hal Linden. As an actor, Marc originated the role of Talk Show Host in the Broadway production of the Stephen Sondheim/Hal Prince musical, Merrily We Roll Along. He has also appeared at Oberlin Summer Theatre Festival and Porthouse Theatre. Marc was in the Returning Professional Acting program at Kent State University and received his MFA degree in Spring 2012. 

Weathervane Playhouse is a community theater. All actors and designers are volunteers.
