[NEohioPAL] February Music at the Beachwood Library

Come enjoy a program  comprised exclusively of works byAfrican/ African American composers. Six pieces by Scott Joplin ("Maple Leaf Rag," "Heliotrope Bouquet," "The Chrysanthemum," "Gladiolus Rag,""Weeping Willow" and "The Entertainer,") will be comprise the majority of the set.　Two contemporary pieces, "Sellassie is the Chapel" by Nesta Robert Marley and "Billie Jean" by Michael Jackson will book-end the Joplin program. All of the pieces will be played on solo classical guitar by Topher Starzyk

 blues and popular songs of Louis Armstrong, Kid Ory and many more.
