Charlotte North Carolina is home to civil rights activities and the terrors of the “Night Doctors” during the 1950’s. Imagined or real the impact of these events changed the lives of one family forever.When Blessings Come Down is a poignant journey told by three members of the Martin family who reunite after years of separation and heartaches. Dark secrets are revealed and each one is forced to face the meaning of forgiveness and the freedom of letting go. This performance will feature original cast members: Jarrett Jones, Sharron Foxx, and special appearance by Sherrie Tolliver in the role of Maggie. A moving “Black history” lesson!
