FOR PROFIT is "a vibrant solo-portrayal of “the exploitation of the American college student,” and is told through the lens of an unwilling admission adviser at a for-profit institution. More importantly, it also explores themes of the 1 trillion dollar student debt crisis, ethics, oppression of the working class, racism, poverty and capitalism.

About Aaron Calafato:
Aaron has received national attention as well as a 2012 emerging artist grant (Puffin Foundation) for his Solo-Theater for Social Change.

In addition to his performance work, he serves as Co-Founder & Artistic Director of Student Debt Crisis, a non-profit organization dedicated to reforming how we fund higher education in America.

In the last 2 years, “FOR PROFIT” has been staged & screened around the country to audiences at universities, theaters, and educational conferences (Over 100 performances & screenings in 20 states).
