June 22, 2014 at the Performing Arts Center, Kent State Tuscarawas, New Philadelphia, OH

Seeking 2 female singers (soprano & mezzo-soprano), experienced with 1930s and 1940s big band style singing. Singers will perform in a trio, as well as have solo work. 2 rehearsals in Canton, Ohio.
Paid position, plus travel stipend and per-diem.

Circleville's own Ted Lewis, "The High Hatted-Tragedian of Song", was one of the most popular entertainers of the 1920's, 30's and 40's. This show will recreate Lewis' 13-piece big band and revue using his original 
arrangements.  This will be the first time these historic arrangements 
have been performed in over 40 years!
