[NEohioPAL] Cleveland Inner City Ballet "Black Ballerina?"

Little known Cleveland Inner City Ballet fact: Did you know that CICB's Founding Artistic Director Chanda Ford-White has written work titled "Black Ballerina?" This work is a look at her life as a black ballerina growing up here in Cleveland, Ohio- from a sociological perspective. Her writings in "Black Ballerina?" are required readings for Intro to Sociology courses this semester at Cleveland State University. 

Cleveland State University- Sociology Department sponsored a lecture about "Black Ballerina?" for Black History Month 2014. For more information check out our website at clevelandinnercityballet.org. We at Cleveland Inner City Ballet are proud to highlight Mrs. Chanda's accomplishments presenting her life work through "Black Ballerina?" 

Cleveland Inner City Ballet offers professionally taught dance education to all children regardless of race, class, gender or socioeconomic background. We believe every child deserves to have the gift of dance.
