Leading Ladies Lead Off 2014 Season
“Stupendous” says the Beaver Falls Gazette. “Outrageously Funny” says
the Mecklenburg Times. “A wonderful night of entertainment” says the New
York Times. The only problem with those statements is that they are part of
the imagination of Leo Clark of the little known Shakespeare troupe, Clark
and Gable. With his partner, Jack Gable, he is doing one night stands
throughout Amish country in Southern Pennsylvania. Down to their last dollar,
the boys are about to call it a career when the York Intelligencer states “
MAX AND STEVE Where are you?” A dying message from an elderly woman who
is searching for two long lost relatives catches Leo’s eye. Reading the
article, he discovers that the dying dowager has three million dollars and she
needs to find the relatives so she can make sure they get their share with
another relative. The cool catch is Two Million Dollars. The boys decide
to become Max and Steve since the old girl has not seen them in years. So
off to York, Pennsylvania they go for fortune and a rejuvenated career.
That is when the fun starts.
