[NEohioPAL] Auditions Announced for LCMT's 'The Music Man' Directed by Monica Olejko

Lorain
Community Music Theater announces auditions for 'The Music Man' which will be
performed July 18 – 27, 2014.  LCMT will
be casting children (ages 7 - 12), teens and adults for the show.  All roles
are available, and a complete description of the roles can be found at
www.loraincommunitymusictheater.org.
Auditions will be held as follows:

Sunday,
April 27, 2014 from 3 pm – 6 pm

Tuesday,
April 29, 2014 from 7 pm – 9 pm
Registration
begins one-half hour prior to audition, with the audition process beginning
promptly thereafter.  Be prepared to stay
for the duration of the audition session. 
Please bring a list of any summer conflicts to
list on your audition form.
A
dance combination will be taught, so please dress for movement.  Dance shoes
are preferred, but not required. 
Flat-soled shoes (sneakers) are acceptable.  Prepare a vocal selection and bring sheet
music in the proper key, as an accompanist will be provided.  Auditions will not be permitted with any
electronic accompaniment nor in acapella format.  (The only exception will be for an
established barbershop-type group, who will be permitted an acapella audition).
Audition Location:  St. Peter’s School
(Music Room, located on the east side of the building) 3601 Oberlin Ave.,
Lorain.  No food is permitted in the
audition space, including gum or candy.
Performance Information: 
‘The Music Man’ will be held at LCCC's Stocker Arts Center in the Hoke
Theatre on July 18, 19, 25, and 26, 2014 at 7:30 pm and July 27, 2014 at
2:00 pm.
