Here is the Audition Notice:


"Great Lakes Theater announces auditions for non-Equity actor/teachers for its School Residency Program for the 2014-2015 school year. Actors of all cultural backgrounds are encouraged to audition. These are full-time, seasonal, paid positions, offered from August/September 2014 through May 2015. All auditions are by appointment only.

Applicants should prepare one Shakespearean monologue and one contrasting contemporary monologue for the audition.  Both monologues should total no more than three minutes combined.
 
Auditions will take place on Monday May 12, 2014. Callbacks will take place on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 and are by invitation only. The deadline to register for an audition appointment is Friday, May 9, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. Great Lakes Theater is an equal opportunity employer.

Eligibility:
All applicants must be non-Equity actors. Additional requirements include an undergraduate degree in any discipline, as well as previous stage experience or actor training. Teaching experience or prior work with elementary, junior high or high school age students is a plus, but not required. Applicants must have access to a reliable automobile.

> Marc Moritz (AEA) most recently appeared in YENTL at The Cleveland Playhouse and was a GLTF Company Member - appearing in INTO THE WOODS as well as  THE CRUCIBLE , YOU CAN'T TAKE IT WITH YOU & ALL'S WELL THAT ENDS WELL. Marc originated the role of Talk Show Host in the original Broadway production of the Sondheim/Prince musical Merrily We Roll Along . Theaters worked include: The Cleveland Play House, Great Lakes Theatre Festival, Idaho Theatre Festival, Long Wharf, Goodman, New Harmony,  Carousel Dinner Theatre , Riverside Shakespeare Festival , Cain Park, Dobama and many more.Marc appeared as Tateh in the acclaimed JCC production of Ragtime. Also: Ten Minutes From Cleveland ,Cat In The Hat  - Seussical ,Argan - Imaginary Invalid , Gremio - Taming Of The Shrew , Uncle John -Grapes Of Wrath , Alan -Baby , Touchstone - AsYou Like It , Ed - You Can't Take It with You  -among others. Marc was the Founder/Director of the Cleveland based Giant Portions Improv Troupe. His improv training includes stints at ImprovOlympic and extensive workshops withPaul Sills, Del Close and Charna Halpern. Marc was a Visiting Guest Artist at Cornell Universitywhere he coached students and performed in productions as a professional mentor. Marc has taught Acting and  Improv at The Cleveland Improv Institute, housed in the landmark Cleveland Hermit Club, and was on staff at Chicago's Second City Training Center. He currently Adjuncts at Kent State and JCU and received his MFA in Acting at Kent State University.
