 MAIDEN VOYAGE THEATRE ENSEMBLE PRESENTS..

 “…But then, womanhood will be womanhood,
void of color and of class, and all necessity for my speaking thus will be past. Gladly past.”


Maiden Voyage Theatre Ensemble will present a choral reading of Beah Richards famous poem, as part of SWAN Day 2014. This event features a cast of talented African American Women. Written in 1951 this timeless and timely thought provoking work, in all its raw emotion, will be recounted with music and movement. Free admission: Donations accepted. Proceeds to benefit MVTE future programming and productions.
