*CASTING CALL: - "DAWG POUNDED" by Tim Tyler*

"Dawg Pounded" is an original comedic play (with parody songs) that tells
the story of two die-hard Browns' fans (Paul & Otto) who must cope with the
ups and downs (mostly downs) of a typical Browns' season.

In addition to enduring the chaos on the field, they both suffer the slings
of outrageous taunting from their chief nemesis, Pittsburgh Pete, as they
watch the games at their local sports bar.

In addition to experiencing the turmoil of a Browns' season, Paul and Otto
are also players in reenactments of the 1964 NFL Championship Game, Red
Right 88, The Drive, and The Move. The play includes a number of parody
songs performed by fellow Browns' fans, Vickie and George. The play is a
comedic examination of what it means to be a Browns' fan - the torment, the
doubt, and the disappointment, all wrapped up in the comfort of hope and
optimism that, one day, it will all be worth it.

The play is scheduled to premiere on August 8, 2014 at Kennedy's Theatre in
PlayhouseSquare and will have a total of 10 shows on Fridays and Saturdays
at 8pm over 5 weekends (8/15 - 9/6). Rehearsals will begin in late June
with dress rehearsals the week of August 3.
