Notre Dame College presents the Broadway hit All Shook Upfeaturing the music of Elvis Presley and book by Joe DiPietro, April 4-6,2014.  Directed by Brian Marshall, themusical will be held on the Notre Dame campus in the Regina Auditorium.

All Shook Up will be performed Friday and Saturday at 7pm andSunday at 2pm.  Tickets are $15 for thegeneral public and $5 for students and seniors. Tickets can be purchased at the door on the day of the performance.

Following the Sunday afternoon matinee of All Shook Up willbe a school sponsored sock-hop. Nostalgia will be in the air when Notre Dame College provides music,dancing, and refreshments for this special event.  The sock-hop is located in the gymnasiumadjacent to Regina Auditorium and begins at 5pm and ends at 8pm.  Admission to the sock-hop is free with aticket stub to the performance of All Shook Up or $5 to anyone not attendingthe performance.  

            Inspired by and featuring the songsof Elvis Presley. It's 1955, and into a square little town in a square littlestate rides a guitar-playing roustabout who changes everything and everyone hemeets in this hip-swiveling, lip-curling musical fantasy that'll have youjumpin' out of your blue suede shoes with such classics as "HeartbreakHotel," "Jailhouse Rock," and "Don't Be Cruel."  The Notre Dame College production featuresboth students and professional actors from the community.

All Shook Up is directed by area professional, BrianMarshall.  Mr. Marshall holds a degree inmusical theatre from Baldwin-Wallace College Conservatory of Music and amasters degree from The University of Akron, and is the co-founder of MercurySummer Stock. He also serves as the Artistic Director for Caryl Crane YouthTheatre, and Associate Producing Director at Virginia Musical Theatre, where hedirected such shows as Cabaret and Yours, Anne, and 2008's criticallyacclaimed Titanic. As ManagingArtistic Director and co-founder of Mercury, Brian has directed numerousmusicals for the company, including JaneEyre, A Class Act and Really Rosie. He is a veteran of 7national tours, including Titanic, Tintypes and A Christmas Carol.  At NotreDame College he previously directed last year’s 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and performed in Godspell.

Founded by the Sisters of Notre Dame in 1922 as a Catholic,four-year liberal arts institution for women, Notre Dame College sits on 48picturesque wooded acres, tucked away in South Euclid, a quiet suburbanneighborhood just 25 minutes from downtown Cleveland, Ohio.  A Catholic institution in the tradition ofthe Sisters of Notre Dame, the College educates a diverse population in the liberalarts for personal, professional and global responsibility.  Since Notre Dame College began admitting menin 2001, enrollment has reached almost 2,000 students.
