Kent State University at Stark presents a concert of musical stage favorites



Kent State University at Stark will present Lyric Theatre Showstoppers! by The Lyric Theatre Ensemble on Saturday, April 5 at 7:30 p.m. in Main Hall Auditorium, 6000 Frank Avenue NW in Jackson Township. The concert is free and open to the public; however, tickets are required. Call the Kent State Stark Fine Arts Box Office at 330-244-3262, Monday through Friday, from 1 to 5 p.m. for tickets.



The Lyric Theatre Ensemble, Kent State University at Stark's professional ensemble-in-residence, will perform favorite classics from award-winning composers, such as Stephen Sondheim, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Giuseppe Verdi and more.



Ensemble members Catherine Robison, soprano; Laurel Seeds, soprano; James GraySmith, tenor; Kenneth Kramer, bass; and Kenneth Furlan on piano will theatrically present a full array of selections from Phantom of the Opera, Jekyll & Hyde, L'Elisir d'Amore, Show Boat and I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change, among others.
