Saturday, April 12, 2014 - 7:30 p.m.

Let your hair down and "Let the Sun Shine in" as Hair, the original
Broadway rock-musical that defined an era, comes to Stocker Arts Center.
Hair is a joyous celebration of youth and a poignant journey through the
tumultuous 1960s America. This exuberant musical about searching for
truth, peace and love in Vietnam War-era America continues to strike a
resonant chord with audiences of all ages. The themes and struggles in
Hair seem as vital and relevant today. The long list of chart-topping
hit songs include "Aquarius," "Let the Sun Shine in," "Good Morning
Starshine" and "Easy to be Hard," became anthems of counter-culture and
the sexual revolution and continue to have a profound impact on
audiences. 

Tickets are $36 each for orchestra seating and $29 each mezzanine
seating. Valet parking is available for $5 per car. To purchase tickets,
call the Stocker Arts Center box office at (440) 366-4040 or visit 
www.stockerartscenter.com. The box office hours are Monday-Friday, 12-6
p.m. and one and a half hours prior to curtain time.

Stocker Arts Center Spring ARTSHOP 

Stocker Arts Center is pleased to be joining with Follow the Fish Art
and Adventure Trail to present the Second Annual Stocker Arts Center
Spring ARTSHOP from 12-6 p.m., Saturday, April 12.  

Hop on over to Stocker Arts Center at Lorain County Community College,
1005 North Abbe Road, Elyria,  for  a memorable day of local art, music,
performance, food, fun and more. 

At the Spring ARTSHOP, you will be able to browse and shop in our local
arts marketplace, enjoy a snack and catch some local performers.  The
ARTSHOP will feature fine art and craft - as well as music and dance.
Grab some chalk and join with local artists to create chalk art on our
sidewalk, or play some games with the family.   Follow the Fish kinetic
sculptures will serve as "trail markers" and a "Spring ARTSHOP Trail
map" will help you find your way around Stocker Arts Center, as you
experience a memorable afternoon of art and fun.
